The Temenos Golf Course

The Anguilla golf course is a 20 minute drive from the Bird of Paradise. It offers an outstanding Caribbean golf experience where sand, wind and water blend seamlessly with Anguilla's natural environment to present a golfer's paradise.

In planning the Temenos golf course, significant environmental efforts were undertaken to preserve and to enhance the island's natural habitats. Most significant was the renewal of Merrywing Salt Pond, an island landmark. Featured predominantly in the course, the pond's water has been reinvigorated, giving rebirth to its natural organisms. New flushing channels permit seawater to flow out of the pond during high tide.

Players are greeted at the starting hole of this 7,063-yard Greg Norman championship course by spectacular views of St. Maarten and the Caribbean Sea, and the overwhelming visual appeal continues.

Some of the signature holes for Temenos golf course include:

  • 1st hole: A spectacular vista of St. Maarten and the Caribbean Sea awaits players at the tee box of the 390-yard starting hole. The fairway descends over 40 feet to a narrow, two-tiered green sitting precariously on the edge of a saltwater lagoon. Robb Report called this first hole "The Caribbean's answer to the 18th at Pebble Beach.”

  • 18th hole: The drive for the finishing hole runs along the edge of a mangrove thicket in a vast stretch of salt marsh that winds through eight other course holes. The narrowing fairway ascends forty feet through rugged terrain to a narrow green carved out of native shrub.

  • 16th hole: Large sea grape trees on the left and the Merrywing pond on the right frame the perilous drive on the 440-yard 16th hole that plays into the trade winds and ends with an elevated green surrounded by water and protected by deep bunkers.

  • 2nd and 10th holes: Holes two and ten of this Anguilla golf course share a 16,000 square foot green that rests along the Anguilla Channel.

Cancellation Policy

  • Temenos’ Anguilla Golf Course has a 24 hour cancellation policy. If a golf reservation is not cancelled 24 hours in advance of the starting time, Temenos Golf Course reserves the right to charge the recorded credit card for any applicable charges.

Hours of Operation for Anguilla Golf

  • Seven days a week from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm.

  • As of June 17 closed Mondays until November 4, 2013

  • September 3 - October 18, 2013 course closed.

Dress Code at Temenos Golf Course

  • Appropriate dress is required for golf on Anguilla including suitable length shorts or slacks and a collared shirt. 

  • Inappropriate dress includes exercise clothing, swimwear, cut-offs, halter tops and tube tops.

Beverage Offerings

  • Beverages are offered from the beverage cart on the Temenos golf course. 

  • The Clubhouse Grill serves grilled selections for lunch from 12 noon to 5:30pm.

  • For dinner, Italia features Chef Massimo's time-honored specialties from 6:30pm to 10pm. 

  • Full bar service is available from 11am.

Luxury Locker Rooms

Daily lockers and locker room facilities are provided including showers.
