"My friends and I had an awesome time. Your staff made everything seamless and we couldn’t be more appreciative. Our arrival at BOP was breathtaking. The welcome of cold towels, rum punch and all those smiling faces was something we will never forget. 

"Michelle was wonderful and took us on a tour and explained the phone, keys and details about the villa. We found that having the house cell phone was extremely helpful and we called the staff and Michelle several times while we were there. Your home was breathtakingly beautiful. We were very comfortable and never felt crowded. Having a strong wifi signal all over the villa was wonderful too. We loved being able to be connected while there!  We used 2 referrals from you- The Masseuses (I have forgotten their names) were wonderful and having our massages in the area with the hammock was the most relaxing thing we could’ve done! All the ladies loved them and considered that a “must have” after a long travel day.

"Barbara- her help beforehand was wonderful. We loved the attention to details, it made planning this event very easy. It’s a shame we didn’t meet her but we were thankful for everything she did!

"Roosie took us EVERYWHERE. He was a safe, timely and patient driver. We loved him.

"Jose—the most gentle spirit we’ve ever encountered. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for us and he was ALWAYS smiling and pleasant. Waking up and seeing him every morning was a joy.

"Anna and Brenda- Always smiling and friendly. Our rooms were always clean and neat and they often washed and folded clothes without anyone even asking. We were very appreciative of their services and their kind demeanor.

"Chef—The food was WONDERFUL. He went above and beyond for us and our requests. Feeding 8 women could not be an easy task and everyone was very pleased with every meal. The attention to detail with the place settings, glassware, napkin rings was awesome! He made sure we had everything we’d asked for. It was SO nice I actually enjoyed some of his meals more than eating out at some of the local restaurants! He was attentive to our requests and was so much fun to be around. He made sure we were having fun (and we did!) Between he and Frankie, the girls and I have made lifelong friends.

"And then there is FRANKIE: We came back to the states echoing Frankie’s name (“Frankie can you bring me a …….”) We probably ran him  to DEATH but if it bothered him, you would never know. He was a STAR amongst all the girls! Frankie made our stay phenomenal! He interacted with us in a way that surpassed just a random person on the staff… he (and Chef) made us feel like family and gave us a vacation of a lifetime!

"I just want to tell you how spectacular the Anguilla Bird is and what an unbelievably wonderful time we had there with our family. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The welcome from Michelle and the staff was exceptional! We fell in love with chef and villa staff a little more every day, and by the end of the week it was so hard to say goodbye to them and the villa and its views. All of Chef’s meals were delicious, and Frankie’s service superb.The attention to detail by Jose, Anna and Brenda was excellent. Jose made us all feel happy from the moment he arrived until he said goodbye for the day. 

"With the photos taken by the eight of us, we could make a cocktail table book of the views from the villa alone, not to mention all of the gorgeous beach photos. We loved looking at and reading about all of the interesting artifacts throughout the villa. We absolutely loved the foliage and at times felt like we were living in a cross between the rain forest and an Italian villa. We loved waking up to the crowing of the roosters, opening up the great room to the island breeze and starting a pot of coffee before all the kids got up. At different times, we enjoyed a little relaxation in the gazebo. The children loved the “secret” hilltop spot and swinging in the hammock. We spent so much time in the lagoon pool, dinners and breakfasts on the beautiful patio, and family time with the island breeze in the gathering room. We enjoyed a couple of nights sitting by the fire looking up at the millions of stars. 

"Our trips to the beach were so much fun--the water temperature perfect and so blue and clear, the lunches so delicious and the island drinks so refreshing. Of course Blanchard’s was a highlight, both the Beach Shack and the main dining room. We all loved our meals and they prepared a yummy chocolate birthday cake for our 14-year-old granddaughter. Of course we had to have a couple of orders of the Cracked Coconut. We received hugs from Melinda, the owner, and were able to chat with her for a few moments before she went off to sign our cookbooks. We also met Miguel for the second time. I’m sorry but I can’t remember the name of the employee who was sitting at the bar on our way out who said he had known you for years and said you were such good people. From the little bit of time we have spent with you, we agreed with him.

"We left with heavy hearts after just one week there. She reaches out and touches the heart in a way no other place has touched us and the memories we made there will be a part of our family for years to come.

"We are back from our trip to paradise! I wanted to write a note to let you know that everything went even better than we had hoped for. The staff, the villa, and the island were all perfect! The reception at the villa went amazingly well. The food was excellent, but the service and care to make sure we were taken care of were exceptional. "This was indeed the best Villa hands down than any we have ever stayed. The location was beautiful. The rooms were like being in a museum. They were superbly decorated and very comfortable. I can't thank Melody enough for working with me to secure a most wonderful eight nights in paradise. You will not find more beautiful beaches anywhere in the world. The staff (We loved you all) were very attentive and we wanted for nothing. My husband and I traveled with our three adult daughters and their three boyfriends. The Villa is located very close to a supermarket that is decently stocked. We found driving in Anguilla very easy and beach bars etc. easy driving distance to the Villa. The Bird is by far the nicest and best value for the luxury you receive."

"We have been back for a few weeks now, but if I close my eyes, I can still vividly picture the views from Anguilla Bird!  I just wanted to let you know that we had such a wonderful time, and my husband had an amazing 50th birthday celebration.  Your home is simply stunning and set up perfectly for island living.  Our friends kept saying they were living in a dream! 

All of your staff were very friendly and helpful.  We enjoyed Chef Kylon’s meals.  His Caribbean Barbecue was especially delicious. My one friend keeps texting me about how much she misses Chef Kylon! We did have a chance to explore the island a bit.  We did have a lobster lunch at Johnno’s on Prickly Pear Cay which they opened just for us, so the hospitality was amazing!  We also visited Meads Beach, and while I appreciate the attraction of a long white sand beach, I liked the beach at Anguilla Bird better!

All in all the trip was even more fantastic than we were hoping for."

"Just a note to say how much we loved your home.  The staff was wonderful and the food terrific. It seemed as if every day we discovered another treasure as we enjoyed the many different spaces.  The beach was terrific.  Each evening my wife and I enjoyed the private pool before dressing for dinner…it provided a perfect space for us to have some private time while the ‘kids’ (23-33 years!) enjoyed their cocktails.  We ate most of our meals on the outside dining area and one day hired a photographer to do some portraits.  It proved to be an amazing 40th and your home provided a wonderful gathering place for our 4 plus 2 significants.  The pool was a source of great pleasure and fun….swimming up to the far end (towards the entrance) was akin to swimming in a tropical forest!   The living room was perfect for some rousing after dinner games and we finally got to the fire pit on our last night for s’mores!

My wife and I loved our suite as did the kids. The double queens were perfect for our daughters to reconnect as siblings.  Of course the other two couples debated as to who really had the best room!

"From the moment we entered this art-filled property, we knew we were in for a vacation to remember. Celebrating my 40th, we splurged on "The Bird" and we were so glad we did. Everything was amazing. Chef Kylon cooked up the most amazing dinners for our large group (accommodating those with food restrictions with no problem) which were served by our butler al fresco each night on a beautiful veranda overlooking the ocean. While the house isn't necessarily set-up for those with disabilities or children, it accommodated both in our group with no major problems. Our toddlers spent their days in the heated pool or playing on the beach. Each room, as noted by others, is amazing and filled with art and luxury touches like Frette linens and Bulgari toiletries. It really is as good as it looks in the professional photos. The staff was equally as amazing and made sure we were taken care of and everything was, well, impeccable. From fresh towels at the pool to setting up beach chairs. They have this thing figured out."

"The Bird of Paradise taxi was waiting and scooped us up and drove us about 10 minutes to the deceptively unadorned turn to the Bird of Paradise. As the gates automatically opened the most beautiful home and view of the ocean materialized before our eyes. It was just stunning....the most lush greenery was everywhere... the art was amazing. A few steps down to an outside dining table and a spectacular view of the ocean and in the distance St. Martin & St. Barts. Wow! "Just wanted to take a moment to reach out regarding our stay at the beautiful Bird of Paradise. Not sure if you were made aware or not but our extended family had decided to do something special for my father and my father-in law who both turn 70 this year. Being that parents and in-laws, my sister and my brother in law and the kids are all one big happy family, we thought it best to rent a house someplace quiet and just relax and enjoy each other’s company. "We booked this home with several friends for a very special occasion (50th birthday), and had the absolutely most amazing vacation. The home is as beautiful in person (maybe more so) than the photos, there is such attention to detail, and it is maintained with such care. The house comes with a fantastic staff, and is so smartly designed for entertaining. The bedrooms are pretty evenly balanced, so each of our guests were very happy with where they stayed. The property managers are very attentive and helpful, and the home comes with a chef that makes beautifully prepared meals. The other household staff is very friendly, and they keep everything together whether it's keeping Frette towels available for swimming, or the bedrooms in perfect order. As mentioned, there is such eye for detail, and the home has many interesting artifacts collected from travels around the world...as well as pretty planted flowers, and native plants. We could not recommend a stay more highly. Go and ENJOY!"

The staff has been fantastic. Michelle was delightful and very thorough in greeting us and making us feel welcome! Chef Kylon is probably one of the best chefs we have ever had! His food is delicious and the presentation amazing! Tristan, Jose, Brenda and Anna are all so wonderful and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better crew! 

We have been scuba diving, discovering beautiful beaches and eating at some delicious spots on the island. Thanks for your great notebook of places to go and eat!"

"The Bird or Paradise in Anguilla is even more beautiful than what we expected from the online photographs.... After a long day of travel, we enjoyed the magnificent view of turquoise waters and warm breeze as the chef prepared drinks and delicious island cuisine to welcome us to Anguilla. We had the villa to ourselves and it was wonderful. Attention is paid to every detail from the Bulgari bath products to the cheerful and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The chef prepared breakfast every morning, and then we hopped around the island enjoying beaches, beach bars and restaurants at Mead's Bay, Sandy Ground, Shoal Bay and Crocus Bay....We would highly recommend the Bird of Paradise and Anguilla. Pack lightly because it's a very casual island."

We want to give a special shout out to your marvelous staff. Anna and Brenda for taking such special care of us and our rooms and all the lovely amenities they offered us. To Jose who gave us an upbeat welcome every morning and made sure all our accommodations were met. Especially being our traffic guard when we left the villa each morning. To Tristan and Chef Kylon for 4 for our most favorite meals on the island. Tristin took great care in serving us and setting a gorgeous table and Kylon's magnificent creations in the kitchen gave us the welcoming feeling of the island people and Caribbean food. 

Also to Gillian who met us at the harbor and made all of our travel arrangements on the island. From the private boat transfers to the rental cars awaiting at the villa.  Everything went seamlessly and with no hassles.

You have an amazing home in Anguilla and some very special people working for you.  We feel so fortunate to have been able to experience the island and its people in such a remarkable place."

"This Villa has it all. Tremendous views, fantastic staff, dinners on the patio watching the lights come up on St Maarten, poolside drinks, unique and uber comfortable furnishings, short walk to what amounts to a "private" beach, classy and relevant art collection, after dinner drinks by the secluded fireplace...

But wait, there's more-

The staff has morning coffee brewing as you rise and is ready for any request including preset beach chairs on the "private" beach complete with umbrellas and fully stocked cooler or personal laundry service while you relax. Take the time to read the owner's Villa guide on arrival. Very well organized with many great suggestions to get you started with our favorite island. Lots to see and do in Anguilla but you will find yourself wondering "why leave the Villa".

We were hopefully a simple group and have developed our own Anguilla routine over the last several years (most days at nearby Shoal Bay beach). Our "education" this year was the real value of staying in "Paradise" each night and taking advantage of the Villa chef (complete with stunning presentation and table service). While there are numerous highly rated restaurants "on island", Chef Guy and Sheldon proved to be the best value with a nightly menu that left our entire group looking forward to the next evening's culinary experience.

Lots of great fun and conversation with everyone supporting the Villa. Great to see old friends and meet new friends. We will definitely return.
